From December 1984 to March 1989, Dr. Jin worked in the Department of Computer Science, Hangzhou Institute of Electronic Engineering, China. In April 1992, he joined the Systems Research Center, INES Corporation, Japan. From April 1995 to March 1999, he worked as an associate professor at the Department of Information Science and Intelligent Systems, Faculty of Engineering, Tokushima University, Japan. During the summer of 1997, he was a short-term scholar in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Boston University, USA. From April 1999 to March 2003, Dr. Jin was an associate professor at School of Computer Science and Engineering, the University of Aizu, Japan. He has been a supervisor for the Graduate School Doctoral Program (the so-called D Maru Go Qualification examined and accredited by the Japanese Ministry of Education and Science) since October 2000. Dr. Jin became a tenured associate professor of the University of Aizu in April 2002. He has been invited to be a Concurrent Professor at the State Key Lab of Software Engineering, Wuhan University, China, since September 2001. Dr. Jin moved to Waseda University, Japan in April 2003, where he holds a tenured full professor position at Networked Information Systems Lab, Department of Human Informatics and Cognitive Sciences, Faculty of Human Sciences. |
