| Purpose of Establishment |
This Center was founded with the aim to promote fruit
tree breeding and improve the technology of fruit plant
cultivation by conducting research on fruit trees and
technical guidance.

Horticulture Experiment Station of Arida-gun Agricultural Association was founded in Inokuchi, Kibi-cho.

The management of the Station was transferred to Wakayama Prefecture, and Wakayama Prefectural Citrus Experiment Station was established.
