Directory Database of Research and Development Activities (ReaD) is a database service designed to promote cooperation among industry, academia and government. ReaD is the web site that collects and provides scientific information on research institutes, researchers, research subjects and research resources in Japan.

Login

Please proceed to the login screen from below link, if you have already had user ID.

If you want to register your information in the ReaD for the first time, you are requested to complete the user registration and acquire the researcher ID.

As for acquisition of the institution administrator ID, please contact the ReaD Office.

In order to ensure security, you are asked to change your password before using the ReaD.

With the shift to the new system, a password should consist of six or more single-byte alphanumerical characters. If your password does not satisfy this criterion, please change your password before logging in.


Instruction for use

Do not use the “back” button on the browser after login. Do not close the browser window before logging out.

If you do not confirm the data within 90 minutes after login, the timeout function will be triggered. Please note that you cannot log in for 90 minutes when you close the browser without logging out.

If the timeout function is triggered, data which have been edited but have not been “temporarily saved” or “registered” will be discarded.

Please change your encoding setting to UTF-8.

Please set your security options to allow SSL.

Please set your browser to accept cookies.
